What a day.
The most I have done is go to the library and to Chapters!
It is so rainy (although has stopped now)
The kids are loud and crazy today.
Arianna did awesome at swimming lessons. I will post the pictures from that tonight. We are so proud of her!
Well less then a month til my 26th bday, Dec 2 to be exact.
It is funny up until 25 I was excited about getting older, but this year doesnt seem as fun! It just means I am closer to 30! YIKES.
All I want for my birthday are gift cards. I want to be able to go out and shop alone and buy things for just ME! (in case my family is reading..fav stores are Old Navy, Winners, La vie en rose hehe)
Oh yes and I want to go get my hair cut and streaked! It has been months since I last got to do that.

Brandon has been working evening shifts so I havent really been cooking. Like tonight it will be something easy.
Last night I went to my parents and cooked a nice roast beef dinner. It was super!
Tonight it will be watching hockey and the CMA awards.
I need to get back on the healthy eating wagon that I fell off over Halloween. too many goodies here. I was watching Opera today and saw Kirstie Alley and how good she looks. She came out in a bikini. wow to be able to do that again.
I go up and down in weight all the time. it sucks. I go to the gym (had to stop since the car accident) and try and eat well. these last few pounds are so frustrating. Winter doesnt help. Dont really want to go outside.
I think I may have to force myself to go jogging in the rain.

Well I guess I should go start dinner....hmmm what to make

Pineapple Express

Yup that is what we are in for today!
Apparently it brings a lot of rain and wind. But at least its warmer outside.

Arianna will be going to swimming today. I am curious to see how she will handle it. I will take some pics of course. My big girl!

Brandon is working another OT shift todayl The lovely 130-1030. Long day for me.
I have nothing planned. My house is rather clean as is. I dont think I have anything really to do! wow.

Rainy Days

Winter has arrived!
But I love it...hehe
I love listening to the rain at night. It is so relaxing.
Of course it makes for cold and wet trips outside.
I am still sore from the accident. The van is still in the shop. It has over $5000 in damage,...see I told you the guy was going fast. He plowed into me so hard, cause that much damage.
I guess thats the reason I am so sore!

James started swimming lessons. He graduated from his class after the first day! He is a little fishy.
Arianna starts her big girl lessons (no parent participation) tomorrow!
She doesnt like soccer. I am not too sure why. Maybe when she is older.
She loves to play outside in the field, but when it comes to going to the class she doesnt want to.

I got out my Anatomy book. I am going to start brushing up on my knowledge of the body again! Get ahead start.

I am excited for the day I can bring home a check. And Brandon can start working less.
We will be able to save more $$ and go on more vacations.
I want to work in labor and delivery or the OB section of the hospital. I love babies!

We are doing a secret santa exchange with my parents, brothers and fiancee this year. Makes it easier to buy for just one person rather then 5. We all have the wedding to save for and the vegas trip this coming summer.

The kids have still not adjusted to the time change. they are getting up at 630 (used to be 730) and they are grumpier cause of the loss of that hour. they nap at the same time and go to bed at the same hour. so they are missing that hour sleep.
I hate getting up that early!

Yesterday I went and paid my registration for school. I guess the teacher picked her people and let them know...so everyone went and paid. She called me becaused I had an appointment for thursday, but by then all the seats may have been taken. I assume she would continue interviewing until all seats were full.
They called me cause the teacher really wanted me in her class. Yay!
So no its really a done deal...School here I come.
I am so happy I can relax over the holidays. New year hits and its time to find daycare!

The kids had a GREAT halloween. They were chickens. I have to say the chicken costumes were the cutest I have ever seen.
They were all over trick or treating. Didnt take much to tire them out. They seemed to get handfuls of candy from houses, so still ended up with 2 buckets full! LOL
AND we barely had kids here. So now we have way too much junk in the house!!!

Arianna started a gym class yesterday at the YMCA. it was great because James can come run around too. It is a ABC and 123 gym.

Today James starts swimming lessons. Mommy has to participate. Arianna starts on sunday. they both love the water, so it will be fun.

It is so cold lately! Boy I am not missing Edmonton this time of the year.
I guess later I will take down the halloween stuff.
I am excited one month til I can decorate for Christmas! hehe

Well I better get motoring. Need to leave here by 20 to 9 so Arianna can get a spot in daycare at the Y.

Engagement Party

After lots of hard work the party went super.
There was tons of food and everyone looked like they had a great time.
It was nice to meet my brothers future in laws. They were very nice people.
It is so exciting to think in 10 months they will be husband and wife!
The chocolate fountain was awesome. so very yummy. I am so glad I invested in that :)

My back is sore. I am taking a anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant. Next week I should start physio. Stupid accident!!!

I GOT ACCEPTED into the LPN program! I start school on Feb 26th. I am so excited...nervous too. Time to get the finiances in order and start looking into day homes for the kids. I have lots of time to plan.

Did a good house cleaning today (brandon helped and did things that would be too hard on my back) . It looks so nice.
I actually cant wait to start Christmas decorating. I want to get some nice stuff (and have seen some at costco) to make my house nice and festive.
I am burning my pumpkin spice party lite candles (have ordered my christmas scents too )
It just feels nice today!

BUT the kids got up at 530...YUCK. Stupid time change!!
It is 11 and I am trying to keep them up til noon before a nap (me included).
Tonight it is left overs from the party at my parents. I dont have the van it is in the shop, so mom is coming to get us later.

I cant wait to halloween. The kids are going trick or treating as chickens LOL
They are warm costumes. Arianna wanted to wear her princess costume, but too cold for that. she can wear it to the mall maybe if we go.
James has a space commander flight suit. It should be a fun day. We will carve our pumpkins tomm. night.

Scariest moment of my life. thank the lord my children were not with me. I was about to be hit on my side (drivers side) I think they call it t-boned? lol and the driver (who was speeding) turned last min. to avoid hitting ME and turned to hit the front area of the car. If it were not for that I am sure I would have been a goner. All I saw was this Car zooming at me from the corner of my eye.I thought I was going to die.It was a miracle.I am still so scared and emotional.Physically I am ok. A bit sore as my body jolted to the right.but mostly my head hurts from crying.Someone was looking out for me today....Now I have my final school interview with the program coodinator and my eyes are going to by sooo puffy lol.Andrea

Lets see....
Lots of wedding planning going on. I found a place for them and they loved it.
The date is officially Sept. 1st 2007 at the surrey golf club. it is going to be fabulous. I am jealous hehe. they got an all inclusive package that include a yummy chocolate fountain......

well thats ok cause I bought my own! LOL
It is my contrbution to the engagement party this weekend. I will have strawberries, pineapple, frozen bananas, biscotti and more....

My interview with school is now TOMORROW! it got bumped up.
I am nervouse but at least the process will be done. then I wait for the instructor to decide!

Yesterday the kids and I went on a leaf hunt. we had a 4 foot tall frankenstein to fill up. it took a long time! I even got dirt under my nails...ewwww
we decorated the front enterance. We figured we would be here for at least some of the candy giving out. the kiddies wont be out as long as some.

I got the kids there costumes for next year hehe. Old Navy had there plush ones on for 10 regular 30!!!
Arianna will be a monkey and James a lion!!

today I need to make a necklace, get a couple party games planned and make biscotti.
