Here are a few pictures from our hotel weekend away. It was wonderful. One picture is of Arianna and her friend Harleen, and the other is with her buddy Spencer. She just loves him like an uncle. His hand is like hers, he is 18 and about to graduate high school. :D We plan on keeping in touch and have him help hom do things...like teach her to tie her shoes. :)

Is she really self-conscious about her hand? My cousin used to be SO worried about people staring at her. Her arms are basically missing forearms and each hand only has 3 fingers.
Liz has gone on to get her Masters degree, swim in 4 or 5 Para-Olympics and is now in Vancouver doing a job associated with the 2010 Olympics. She is married and has never let her different ability hold her back. I'm proud to be her cousin.
