It must be summer
Oops Its been quite some time since I updated my blog. I guess the summer has me busy!
I even think Brandon has been updating more then me lol.
Lets see, whats new....
I think I will be working soon at delta hospital, and will not be working at surgical in surrey anymore. I am going to stay casual on orthopedics at Surrey though.
I had my interview at delta (not sure if I posted this, but if I did you can read it again lol) and it went well. They said I did very well and my answers were articulate. I was supposed to wait for my manager on surgical to be back from holidays to be my reference ..even though she really knows nothing about me..she sits in an office all day...but anyways, they asked my find a different one if I wanted, someone else I reported to. So, I figured I should ask my other managet on orthopedics. Well, I have worked way less there and was not even sure if she knew who I was lol!
She is such a nice person. When I explained the situation, she said she had heard good things about me and said a patients family even came in to talk to her about how great I was...so she gave me my reference! Now, I am waiting (again) for the manager at delta to get back from holidays lol...next week:)
I was very lucky to get the interview without waiting months. My friend works at delta and got me in! Its all in who you know now a days.
I will be working on an acute medical ward with 40 beds. Delta is a tiny hospital, that does only day surgeries and has a small ER. thats it! they have NO big testing machines (CT or MRI) they have to send pts via ambulance to surrey.
Its very cute...and parking is FREE> Unlike surrey where I pay the employee rate of $4 a day.
Its literally down one street 15 mins from me. ahhhh.
I cant wait!!
Thats a work update for me!
At home as some of you know, Brandon is ripping up the tiles in the hot tub room / wet bar / sauna area. We want that whole area to have matching flooring, and since the hot tub needed to be ripped out, we opted to do it all. not to mention I was not a fan of the blue tile they had everywhere.
He is also bringing back in the laundry machines. they were in the garage as the previous owners moved them out there for some strange reason. So he had to take out the sink and cupboards they put there.
Slowly, but surely this house is becoming ours. By the time we are done the updating this house will be worth a heck of a lot more :)
Soon its time to paint!!
Arianna turns 5 in 4 days. That means kindergarten is only weeks again.
Wow. I am emotional about that. My first born is off to school.....:(
She will do well, I know. She needs the outlet thats for sure.
I think she is more the creative one. Takes after mommy. Will be more artsy then sporty.
James on the other hand is Mr Sporty. I am amazed at his swimming skills. He is better then Arianna as he is a daredevil who takes risks. Arianna is way more cautious, but is doing well too.
James got his hair cut yesterday. Nice and short...shorter then daddys. But he looks cute :) This was the first time he got buzzed! He did well :)
I am still doing boot camp, but part time now. 2-3 days a week. Still working my weight back down...just in time to get pregnant lol. Oh well, I am determined to gain as little as possible with this next one, and will do some prenatal boot camp hehe.
I am uploading some pics and will add some here.
Hope your summer is going well!

Oh what to do...
The calls from worked have slowed down this month....it was ok during the first couple weeks of july when we went camping, but now its not so fun. I need to work!
I am so glad I have enough prebooked shifts in august.
But, at the end of sept. I will no longer be on surgical (no more LPNS) so I need to find somewhere else to work. sigh.
it would be so nice to find something part time. and close to home.
so the hunt begins once again.
One piece of good news is my college asked if i would be interested in teaching part of the exam prep classes for the sept. group. I was so happy!
I had suggested to them what I thought would be more beneficial, and I guess they took the suggestions but would like me to help implement them. I cant wait! I hope this means if it goes well they will ask me to do more ;)
So begins the road of me teaching....that is my long term goal. :)
The weather is still so nice here. All sun and no rain. Such a nice July so far! I hope it continues.
The kids and I went to pick some raspberries today. yum. Now we just wait for the blueberries to be ready!
That is about all from me. I hope I can find some more work....before I go on maternity leave...oh wait need to get pregnant first...better go work on that lol

Little Black Dress
Its nice to wear a size medium again :)
It has been so nice and hot here lately. I love it.
I am back to work. I am not loving it as its night shifts. I really hate them. Unfortunately as a nurse they are the reality :(
We are off to my parents today for a bbq. Its my moms birthday this week and my parents anniversary.
Brandon is back to work today as well. Holidays are over for us, its back to the real world of working and not seeing eachother lol.
Oh well, work as much as I can now. You never know when number 3 will be on the way ;)
Have a great week!

Stats
Well I weighed myself this morning after breakfast, just to make sure I had not gained weight from camping lol.
AND
I have well passed the 10 pds lost mark! YAHOO.
I think I am around 12-13. :) (and 12 inches all over)
I guess thats why even my size 1o pants fall off hehe.
I am wearing a size medium top again. But refuse to buy pants. I want to be smaller, so I will wait :)
Hey, all these big clothes can be maternity clothes now right :)
